Prologo
Prologue
This is my first post and I wanted it to be about music, but life is magic and something happened. Before telling what happened I just want to remind you to take a look at my “Presents” section, you can and download some of my works for free. I thought that sharing part of my work as a present would be a good idea to welcome you.
1 - ...life is magic and something happened. After thirty years I met an old friend of mine,S. a girl. We talked a lot, and it was just like not even a minute had passed, we opened and talked about happiness, talked about sufferance. She was very brave and said she wants to be loved, she needs to be loved.
Dovremmo! Anche perché se ti amato, so già quanto bene tu stia.
2 - It was very touching because I felt she was silently screaming it, like if it was a confession; a confession you may only whisper but that you actually need to speak out loud. I am so grateful I met her again because she gave me the opportunity to understand how I, and we all, underestimate this essential need, the need to be loved. We spend our time talking politics and money and we never speak about this essential need that, because it’s so important becomes a right. Isn’t it all we should talk about? Shouldn’t we ask “do you feel loved?” instead of “how do you feel”? We should! Even because if you feel loved, I already know how well you feel.
3 - And why do we think we kind of have to deserve to be loved? We acknowledge the right to be loved to kids, but then those kids grow up and they think they lose that right, they think they actually need to do something special in order to regain that right. Isn’t this we all seek? When we do or make something, aren’t we all saying “look what I’ve done for you, do you like it? Do you love me because of it? I did it because I care about you, do you care about me too?” If I look inside myself earnestly and overtake shame, I recognize that feeling, I become kid again and can feel it is so, in the most beautiful, simple and pure way. I do need to be loved, it is my right and even more, I too love.
